I used it in an AvA terrain (avasummr, on the server).  It's part of one of my texture "packs" I've made to save time when making new terrains.  I have a texture pack(folder) for pretty much anywhere in the world.  Whenever someone needs/wants custom textures, all they need to do is ask.

I suspect you already know that because the base work is not something you commissioned that using this in a commercial product would be ill-advised.

Some people are ok with the "give and take" in the digital world and can and will seal a deal on a hand shake, or an email.

Not everyone is worried about their hard work being added to someone else game/product. Some do it just for the fun.
