He didn't say it's a Foxbat. He said it's a, hang on... 25 + 6 = 31 ... , Foxhound.

So now we just make up planes and let people guess?

It comes from some game called "Xenonauts", no doubt popular with Generation Duh. It's a highly advanced version of the deadly Mig-28 featured in Top Gun. You know the dreaded Soviet aircraft that can dogfight while carrying 1500lb Exocet missiles underwing.

Frankly I never thought it was a Mig-31. I figured it was either Darth Vader's golf cart, or an evolutionary offspring of the Flying Sub from "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea"

We can go in that direction too. Heck, we already had the wildly popular and state of the art Blohm & Voss model 38 a few pages ago. Here is one of my personal childhood favorites. I would so own one of these bad boys!

Makes sense.

I prefer the real Valkyrie. From MY childhood.

Only downside is, it doesn't turn into a toaster, or a vacuum cleaner.

You do know the XB-70 was the inspiration for the name of the VF-1 even as the Eagle and Tomcat were the basis for it's creation. Still, ya gotta admit, in Jolly Roger livery and in full battle mech mode the VF-1 is one badass fighter!  :aok

Dude, I grew up on Jonny Quest, back when Race Bannon could just shoot people on Friday nights, and they didn't get back up. Imagine that.

Right then! Well be a lamb and give us a new aeroplane to have a guess at!

Here's an easy one. I definitely like the setting.
