Field guns down

If all the guns are dead on a field, I wish they would go red in the hangar list like planes or gvs do when they aren't available. Just saves some clicking.

There's not 'gun hangars' to take down. There is your likely difference. (Wouldn't want that, personally.)

Arlo he said in the hanger where you see the list of planes, Gvs and the field guns.

I agree, it would be nice to have it red out.  Not a big deal just being consistent.

I understood him. Fighters, bombers and vehicles go red when their hangars go down.

But, can it not be done with the field gun selection? No hangars needed.

I've seen coding time used for worse purposes  :D

I have no idea what the change would take.  Obviously if its 2 days of coding, probably forget it.  If its 2 hours, and saves some extra clicks for thousands of players for the rest of the life of the game, maybe it is worth it.

My job as a player is to ask for what I want.  HTC gets to weigh the cost to benefit ratio.

Then they are blue.  :D

Or, the hangar could show (somewhere easy to read and access) how many guns are up and what type.

Like so..

5 37mms 2 down 1 occupied 2 empty
3 88mms 1 down 2 occupied
1 shore battery destroyed


Perhaps have abbreviations for each, so it wouldn't take so much room. Red for down, Blue for Occupied White for empty. (as it is now)

Following that logic, the RV8 is the biggest waste in the game.

I don't see how you derived that from Arlo's comments.  Maybe it's because you don't know the reason why the RV8 was added to the game in the first place.  It's contribution to the game is far more than what you know and it wasn't just added for an Evil Con mission.  It was added to test the fidelity of the flight model, since HiTech owns a RV8 and knows how it's supposed to fly in the real world, he can then check how it compares in-game and check to see if there are any discrepancies with the flight physics in game.

Might be the simple solution is let gun diagram still come up even if all guns are down.  Not the wish, but still better than the way it is.

Arlo it is a wish not a demand.  We all know wishes are just a way to offer feedback to the game play.  Some HTC will see as a good thought and some they want.  If we don't make wishes then the feedback loop stops.
