The account management in AH is pretty archaic. Should be updated so activation/suspension of the account can be managed by the player, different payment plans etc. The in-game communication system is clunky and unintuitive; needs friends list and mouse driven controls rather than a command-line interface. The whole game interface really needs a major update. IMHO.

Because we don't have batteted wife syndrome, and realize that it's not a privilege to play this game?

Don't get me wrong, we play because HiTech built and maintains the game, obviously. But that doesn't mean we need keep silent about faults; if he wants to keep the game going, he needs to make improvements.
