We knew before takeoff that we had the best in the escort business.... ya proved us right, guys!  :-)

Great time. Great mission.

Everybody have a great Memorial Day weekend. If you see a WWII vet.... Shake his hand.

As Swoop stated above the AK's got us to the target space in our TU-TU's and hit the targets we were after.  Judging by the logs the AK's went into that fight with a 2 or 3 to 1 disadvantage in fighters plus they had a few guns in "Slick" TU-TU's as at the last minute we had to steal some of their guys to cover our shortage in meeting the 10 min TU-TU requirement.  The 325th VFG appreciates that support in of its self.

So a few P-40's and TU-TU's up against about 20 X 109's and 202's and the 325th got in and out losing about 40% of the bomber AC which gained us a +95 point value at V42 (loses and gains factored in).

Nicely done AK's - And let me be the first to point that AKGreyga is to my knowledge the first "ACE" in a TU-TU configured as a slick to fight in a single frame.  By the logs he downed 5 enemy AC last night.

BIG <S>  there buddy and nicely done.

<S> to the AXIS at V42 as well.  You guys put up a strong defense.

LOL.. yeah, the TU-TU proved to be a surprise when a handfull were mixing it up with our C. 202s

Be thankful my 202 didn't have effective guns.. the one I was playing with would have been dead.  I hope I at least gave the crew a papercut.

Didn't see that coming.

<S> on creative technique!

I told my guys from the get go, the Tu was the thing we need to fear the most in this setup.  In squad scrimmages against the allied plane set it was always the most deadly.  <S> to the AK's for proving it true and taking advantage of it :aok

<S> Thx guys.  We deliberately put the clean tu2's in the mix of the bomber rolled ones so when u guys engaged and the clean tu's broke off, u guys chase them, letting the hvy tu's bomb.

I sure Batfink is wondering how my p40e caught his bf109f on the deck, hehehehe.  P40E dives and holds it E better then 109f once leveled off.  <S>

<S> 325th!  It was a pleasure to fly with you guys.  In frame 1 you guys did a fantastic job escorting us to the target and I’m happy to hear many of you were able to hit your assigned targets in frame 3.
