Fulky, i would not be too proud of that i can get a kill in 2v1... but thats just my over-grown egoism  :rofl

I wasn't proud of anything, I was stating facts. So Muppets never rope or clear each other's six?  Ah yes, I must have imagined the times I have seen it done.

Please resub.  I'd like to see what you can do and we need more people in game.

those numbers DO lie. heres why, none of them are 1v1. they are pick and vulch kills. i know that these are not 1v1 kills, bc skyyr does not do 1v1.

Yeah.  He is usually alone against six and flames four or five.

Clearing six  :rofl,

Outnumbered? If you're 5-7K above a superior group you are still outnumbered :headscratch:

Koolaid's good over there.

Kruel wasn't on when we were doing this.

Do you read what you write?

So I assume, based on the way you wrote this, is the "honorable" way for us to fight would have been to get on the deck with the....ah... superior group and die swinging, maybe take a few with us.  Am I correct?

Not sure about the koolaid here...but I'm certain the Koolaid is good their...did they spike it with something before they handed it to you?

Delusional jealousy coupled with frustration.  You will never change their minds.  May as well move along.  Hitech is already losing patience with this thread and frankly so am I.

Skyyr doesn't need my help.  He is handling the whiners just fine on his own.

Vraciu, if this is so, why do you have more posts in this thread than anyone else?

Since you are a relatively new player, Vraciu, I will offer the following advice and experience with you one time.  I hope you consider the following:

Several years ago, in my second stint flying in aces (2008ish) I was flying Bish (as all new players are assigned) as was rather quickly recruited into a Bish squad.  They were a "base taking" squad, and known for "hording bases".  It was good for me at the time, as I was learning lots about the game from them, but the squad was often vilified here on the forums for their tactics and specifically for the attitude of the XO (who later became CO), who would PM and berate guys whenever he got shot down.

The squad and our tactics were a common theme of the forums.  As a loyal member of my squad, I felt inclined at the time to defend against some of the abuse against the squad brought here on the forums (not the PM'ing thing, as I never like that).  But, I spent an undo amount of time and effort replying to what I thought were "attacks" against my squad and I.  All of this was pointless, because people are going to think what they think.

However, as I got more experience in the game, I realized some of what others were saying was true.  I was vastly limiting what I could learn and my ability to improve at flying in AH by flying with that squad and using the tactics they used.  I soon thereafter left that squad.  It took a little while before I was accepted into another good squad, who never-the-less ribbed me for a while about my previous squad affiliation.  Eventually I became well-respected in that group as my skills improved even further, flying new aircraft and learning new tactics.  I also felt I was becoming more respected in the community, as we generally stayed off of 200 and treated others with respect.

When I really started to learn Aces High, I learned to challenge myself more and accept failure as a learning opportunity, rather than being focused on "always winning".  I started flying by myself more, dying more often, but learning at a greatly accelerated rate.  My point on that is this: Often taking a "win at any cost" approach to a game can be the worst thing for you.

I am NOT saying you should leave your squad.  I am saying you should be careful what horse you attach your wagon to, especially if are going to vehemently defend your approach to the game right now, and particularly the actions and attitude (on 200) of the player you look up to the most.  This is going to potentially stifle your growth and, more importantly, stifle your association within the AH community.

Case in point: You once asked if you could be a part of my gunnery training course when I started running it again.  I told you I would PM you when I did.  I haven't PM'd you, because the answer now is "no" -- you have established yourself to me as someone I don't want to associate with in any way at this point.

You can disagree and dismiss my comments just as you did Widewing's advice.  I truly believe you should give both some more serious thought and let them sink in a little before replying to me, or to anyone.  I have no intent to reply any further to you at this point anyway.

That is all, sir.

Respectfully,

<S>

Nope, i rarely clear sixes unless we are outnumbered. Thats why i was called "that fricken dorahore" hehe.
It usually looks like:
-are you okay with that <insert plane type here>?
Bait/pick/run is not the tactic i have joined my current squad, or any squad i was flying before the AoM.

Keeping it classy I see.

Yea, this thread's goal was to make fun of you. Totally on the hook, buddy  :rofl
As for my totally inappropiate, vulgar, odscene, sexually boosted references of butt-licking - well, how would you describe the stuff youre doing? hehe

Please forgive me if I don't shed any tears over your opinion of me.  I could care less but that would take effort.

You can't teach me anything any way, so the non-invite is a non-factor.  I don't even recall asking.  Shows how important it was to me...as in not at all.

To refute your falsehoods would take more time than I care to spend.  I will just say if you were as good at flying as you are lying you would be 151:1 kd.

Any time you would like to go to the DA for some 1v1 fights, just ask.  I'm sure we can waive the "no balls, no entry" DA requirement for you to go.  With your vast real life 10,000 flight hours in military fighters, I shouldn't last very long.

Ryno you tried diligently, those are sage words...I fell to the same trap (not to the degree of Vraciu's vehement defense of Skyyr though) with my second AH squad here too, defending the CO as if he for some reason needed it.

You tried, others tried to offer them ways to stop being so abrasive, this has gone on for months...

oh well,

 :salute
They're casting their bait over there, see?
