This P-51B belonged to the 23rd FG also known as the Flying Tigers. In November 1943 the group started receiving mustangs in addition to their P-40s to expand their capabilities as a group.

The pilot of this mustang was Lt Curtiss W Mahanna.

I always thought the 23rdFG Ponys look great. Too bad they didn't put the teeth on them too at the time.

That's a nice looking skin Dragon.  :aok

I'd suggest making the panel lines show up a touch more and perhaps adding a dark line to show the gap between the spinner and the fuselage.
