Here's a quick screen grab from my 3d modeling program of the vehicle hanger. It's just showing off the light rendering and ambient occlusion. Keep in mind you are not seeing any normal , specular and environmental textures rendered. Also, there is no alpha set for the windows. It's purely just an unshaded vehicle hanger with texture applied.

I'm gonna figure out how to get that Waffle Haus in the game one day.......

The girls went to see George Strait this evening, so I spent some time working on a familiar piece of the puzzle that resides in the Aces High world - as well as drinking beer and getting ready to fire up the grill!
Maybe early next week, I'll see if I can get Hitech's approval to post a pic or so in this thread.

I mean if that's ok with you guys....

If I can add my $0.02.

I agree that the floor should have some kind of oil stains. Though you may have already thought of this since it doesn't actually have a floor yet.

I don't know if maintenance crews painted over the windows out of a drunken stooper of if they were taken out all together. But they went from a dark blue to black. Since it still looks like there is supposed to be light coming through them, I think they would look better as a soft white.

Other than that, nice update! :salute

Edit: there should also be a bottle of scotch on one of the crates :D

There is no floor, that's just the x-y axis of whatever program that is. He's showing off the lighting engine-- compare the top and bottom pictures. The shadows and stuff are not hard-painted into the texture like they are currently, they're rendered.

It's really really impressive, nice work  :aok :aok :aok :aok I always wished AH had stuff like ambient occlusion

Looks good, even from a basic render from within the modeler app. Can't wait to see the completed update with new art and rendering engine.  :x

You'll have to forgive the critic. After all, he's an idiot.

I rarely read long posts unless there is absolutely nothing better for me to do. If there are pictures, I tend to only look at them. I'm a very visual person.

Rats.   With the crates in the way there will be no way to drive into the side of the hanger with the doors closed as a hiding spot.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Wonder if Hitech will eventually let Waffle film a jeep ride around the new terrain and a field?
