I struck out with a couple of skinners on a 31st Fighter Group P-51B skin request, so putting it out to the community again (maybe a skinner who already has a template for the P-51B?). Since my first request I have found what I think might be a more interesting skin on the cover of this book:

This is the only image I can find on this style of skin so I've asked Lyric for some help in finding anything else on this color scheme to help the skinner (although the book cover has a pretty good view of the plane for a generic skin that is not pilot specific). Hard to see, but the horizontal stab/elevators would also be bare metal with the red stripes just like the vertical stab/rudder. The red stripe pattern was standard on all P-51 variants in the 31st as far as I know, so any photo of a 31st P-51 would show you the pattern for the tail section.
