Kodiak requested a skin by the 31^st FG for the P-51B, but the specific skin that was requested wasn't going to work. I couldn't find an actual photo of the aircraft, and the color profile lacked enough detail to work off of. I suggested this skin as a substitute. He has already started looking into another skin from the 31^st but since I had already started this one I figured I would go ahead and finish it.

This skin was part of the 31^st FG 335^th FS. The pilot was forced to bail out 14km west of Epernay, France due to engine failure on May 9^th 1944. The pilot bailed and became a POW.

I think you need to check the history of that aircraft.

The FS in the 31st were the 307th, 308th and 309th.
