your personal little airplane icon on the pull down map

is there a way to change it's color--it's getting hard for me to see it....if not then-yes i'm going to make a silly little wish to be able to change the color for the personal little airplane icon that shows me where i am and which way i'm heading..because under certin map conditions it's hard to see.

Maybe the icon can updated to a choice of "Icons". I suspect for some of our more seasoned customers it would be kinder to their eyes to have a choice. I'm not sure what the pixel mask is for that thing. If it operates on the same principle as gunsights, does that leave it open to custom pointers?

Kind of like you can customize your mouse pointer.

I would like to have a P38 "icon". It would go well with my mouse pointer which I have already changed to a P38

This is an excellent idea. With the compass placement in some cockpits, the plane icon on the map IS my compass, and sometimes it's really hard to make out the orientation.
