Yup.

Thx for info.

Classic thread, one for posterity.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

I called FTDeep FTShallow once as a joke.  Death threats and other nonsense via PM ensued.  Pretty funny stuff, and flipping out over getting shot by a TU2, even funnier.

Stotz is a good fighter pilot, I've encountered him a few times.

But dude, any point you're trying to prove, you hurt it with your hyperbole.
"Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals."

when I made that statement I had just been killed an hour or two by a guy that had been in the game for like 2 weeks.  he out turned my spit8 in his 190 in like 1 turn.

now the thing about is that not that he was so much better than me, but I thought I was so much better than him as I had seen him flying around that I thought he was really not a threat.

which got me thinking about all those guys who were so much better than me and at one time or another I had killed in like 1 or 2 turns.  and I felt that I killed them not because i was better than them, but more like they thought they were so much better and just like me got stupid and died.

which made me think of how "anybody can kill anybody in a plane"  or something like that.  I dont remember the exact phrase.

the point was you can ram, ho, outturn, outwit, out drink, anybody in any plane anytime.  maybe not consistently but you at one time or another you can kill anybody in any plane.

My favorite part was when he wrote that after he was suspended from chat he knows that games settings were altered to make his guns worthless and any plane he flew much easier to kill.

Probably the funniest thing of this entire thread and incident - searching FTDeep's past posts, the last post he made prior to this one, back in January was this verbatim -

"Boo Hoo".

How very appropriate.
