Jay Gruden

So I know very very little about my favorite team's new head coach. We all know about Jon, but pudgey Jay well, guess he was a QB once. I'm feeling lazy and don't trust wikipedia...lol actually I'm very busy lately.

But here's the thing, he's done remarkable things so far for the Redskins. He got a 2nd WR; something the Shanny's couldn't get done in 4 yrs; at least 5 wr early/mid round draft busts...He traded back in draft, picked a player everyone thought should go later and still got the OL that everybody wanted with the previous pick. AND they traded with the Cowboys  :huh

They just put the franchise tag on Orakpo and apparently his rapport with Griffin is "very good." Of course that was said with Shanny's & Co. too.

It's been a rough 21 years folks from '92 SupberBowl , iirc in that time they've had 2 playoff appearances.

Things look on the up and for someone I know so little about, looks like he put this disjointed group back together; we'll see, with a Def improvement and leadership this team could be competitive.

:salute Jay Gruden, wind at our back.
They're casting their bait over there, see?

+1

The skins are my 2nd team behind the Steelers.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Was, more/less, but reportedly since Gibbs 2nd return Snyder doesn't meddle as much and he doesn't make player decisions; however it would seem (somewhat) to the contrary because there is little doubt who he sided with last year: Griffin.
