Dropping an F-bomb, regardless of how it is masked, will get you an instant mute from a moderator.  That directive comes directly for HTC.

After the first ten minute mute, you came back with:

FNT00L  :200     :Moderators got to stop being nosey PTA members
FNT00L  :200     :Power hungy idiots... you hear me moderator!

The moderators are instructed to also instantly mute anyone who attempts to confront them.  Tis directive also comes from HTC.

The moderators acted appropriately.

By the way, your game ID is pushing the boundaries as well.

One more time.  Things like this are best addressed directly to HiTech Creations.  That is the proper recourse, if you believe you have an issue with any player in the game.

SKuzzy - why not do the above with all of these types of threads.  Every time somebody  comes along with an in game mod complaint, and a fictionalized version of events, cut/paste the actual text like the post a few above this, and end all speculation immediately.  I have a feeling such a policy would end these types of threads, and if not, at least the OP would look instantly foolish, and we could all laugh more.

Is there ever a one of these mute threads where it turns out it was a power crazy mod drunk on the power of handing out mutes?  It seems every time when the facts come out is was just a guy breaking the rules and getting a slap on the wrist by a mod following protocol.

That is exactly what we have been doing, for quite some time now.

As an FYI.  The moderators are the most heavily watched players in the game.  They cannot act without being scrutinized for it, by HTC.  It really is a pain-in-the-butt to be a moderator.

He actually has done that a lot in the recent past. I instantly remember several of these threads.
