Saw a P-51 fly over today
« on: August 06, 2014, 05:42:16 PM »
I work at a chemical plant just a few miles west of Fort Knox, Kentucky.  A P-51 flew over at about 2500 feet.  From what I could tell, it was pretty much all grey.  Distinctive Merlin sound.  Looked like he was heading north to Louisville International Airport.  Anyone know where he was headed?  Also, why so low?

awesome, I saw a spit with invasion stripes fly over today myself, what a coincidence. I got my phone out and just caught the last few seconds of it but hard to see much.
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.
