Just wanted to say we had a blast last night. It was our first organized 5v5 and we are happy
with our performance, we learned plenty and will be preparing for more matches soon, if people are up to it.

The players:

The Damned: BeeLowK, Chosen, Fulcrum, Kruel, Skyyr
AoM+Friends: ChangeUp, iKo, Lazer, JB11, Sawzaw


The Score:


(The Damned picked first plane, loser of round picked the next plane).

1st Round: The Damned  selected the LA7      - Winner: AoM+Friends
2nd Round: The Damned  selected the LA7      - Winner: The Damned
3rd Round: AoM+Friends selected the P38      - Winner: AoM+Friends
4th Round: The Damned  selected the Yak3     - Winner: The Damned
5th Round: AoM+Friends selected the P38      - Winner: AoM+Friends
6th Round: The Damned  selected the FW190-D9 - Winner: The Damned
7th Round: AoM+Friends selected the P38      - Winner: AoM+Friends

Final Score 4-3.

If any squads are interested in doing these regularly, please let us know as we would be more than happy to
go at it.

We are planning to start doing these on a regular basis and maybe get some type of squad v squad matches going
soon.

I came away thinking we need to start flying the P38 a weeeeee bit more....

That's what I thought after fighting AKAK in the DA last week.   I learned a lot and realized the P-38 is actually kinda' fun to fly.   I love the way it sounds with my sound pack.    SMOOOOTH.

2 gliders are definitively threats, sure. I tried to use them as bait but he didn't bite. I don't think he killed them, they wound up ditching. Like I said well flown on his part.

Good ol' JB11.  Him and 42 were always great to fly and fight against.  That JB11 won a 4v1 in a competition doesn't surprise me at all, I'd LOVE to see the film of that round if anyone has it, and could post it in this thread.

We got us a 1-upper here folks.  Just let it go....breath Skyyr.  We know kills are important to ya after watching you land your DA kills but you don't have to 1-up on a loss.  Just do what we did...take it like a man.

I'm not one-upping at all. I was simply calling an epic fight with JB, well, epic. In fact, JB was routinely the last man left standing on your team on numerous occasions, and clearly your MVP. In light of that, he deserves a big -=S=-.

I ditched. I was down to 1 min of fuel so I reduced RPM trying to act like a threat but JB was having none of it.... I was below both Kruel and JB at the time so he ignored me. I was pretty sure a rearm wasnt allowed (we might want to clarify that pointl) and was too far away in any case.

I would have been very shocked if the Muppets and Friends lost the P-38 rounds.
