What historical tactics do you use?...I'm generally interested because judging by the times I've seen your flying I'd say you don't know how to implement any sort of flying tactic in the game.

I'll say this, I started this game BnZing...I probably had a higher K/D at the time...but put me in a position of disadvantage where I couldn't run away with my built up E I most likely was dead. Now, after a lot of getting my butt kicked by upping at vulched fields, when my SA fails I have a lot higher chance of actually winning that fight.

Don't know where you get that I don't think all parts of the air combat are important in their own way....if you ever would like to fly historical match ups with me, let me know I'm all for that....my favorite fight to be in is a 152 vs bomber w/ escort raid...any pig will confirm that.

A P-40C taking it from behind.  Twice.  :uhoh

Damn it....my file was too big....  working on the edit now

ok...let's try this then.... Here is an old film of a furball in progress...A bit picky on my part but it was a great few hours with a heap to and fro....one moment green the next red.....  plenty of planes to ride along in... a few old names... and clouds

sorry about the Zip file....it was the only way it would accept it...and I was under 6k...ah well

A one aileron N1K vs a rudderless P-40.

No vid of course but wanted to pass along  :salute to anarchy for two good fights last night. One that unfortunately became 2v1 and a second purely 1v1. Love how he moves that K around and doesn't play the 5 grid "extend" card. Well done anarchy/someguy.

If i didn't hit the prop at the end, it was likely over anyway.  :ahand

That was some nice shooting, getting 2 in one pass.  I would have missed them both.  You were really tearing them up in that furball.

You might like this next one - a Ki-61 is in it.  Pretty brief, but close in action on the deck.

Pretty good 109G-6 action with my favorite kind of ending.   :devil

If someone could critique this fight for me please, trying to get my head round the 38g. Had a great amount of fun in this one, neither of us ended up with a kill, and please be aware I use Track IR, so your not going to see my head movements.

It is a lot harder to tell someone what they are doing wrong if you can't tell where they are looking (a major factor i all fights). I suggest you record fights with a capture program while they are happening if you want someone to accurately review it.

Good point Poison, was thinking more of the plane positioning, flap, rudder and throttle kinda deal. I had him in sight through every step of that fight just for info.

Any recommendations for a capture program?

Thanks Kruel, just got Bandicam (full version for 39). Seems very easy to use (if I remember to turn the bugger on anyway)

This is a great program, unfortunately I can't really use it since my machine doesn't  have the guts.
