Bloody hell mate. And I thought I took a lot of risks when flying.  :rofl

That final shot was epic.  :rock

Was there any post-fight sour grapes? What was Max referring to?

No sourness directed towards me. I was complimented on my ability to keep the 152 in a climb. I think Max was referencing a previous spat over 200. I like fighting TheJudge, he's a good opponent.

I vaguely recall this one - fun one <mutters about fw tailstands>   we had some pretty stalling wingovers there in the process.

Do you have the date of the original film? Hoping I still have it and can show both perspectives.

Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.

Ill take a look, I typically cut out the parts of the film I like and try to delete the rest. I may still have it though.

It was a fun fight and I didn't expect to survive it. I imagine my familiarity with the 152 was a major help, I don't think I would have gotten off as easy if you were in a ride your more comfortable in.

If you apply what you're learning, you just might!  :old: :joystick: :airplane:

Here are a few:

la7 vs 51d where I use, SA, vertical rolling and the terrain.  The fight starts with me being coalt with a p51d at 15k.  As we engaged, you can see me using rolls in the vertical to stay inside the pony.  As we were getting slower into a vertical turn fight I noticed the p47 coming in and had to dive out to reset.  As I ran for the hills, literally, intending to use them somehow vs two planes I had powerloading advantage on, I had some unexpected help come in (p38.)  Once I hit the ridge, the 47 peeled off to engage the 38, allowing me to use the peak of the hill to get around the 51 for the kill.

la7 v spit9 - basically a coalt merge where the truism of "lose sight, lose fight" is on display.  Dutch admitted he lost sight on the merge.

la7 v spit9 - I had advantage this time over Dutch's spit9 and went aggressive, cutting throttle and using vertical rolls to stay inside his turns for the eventual win.

This was a very fun one, who knew the snail could get so slow  :uhoh

In retrospect I probably should have started off with a defensive turn back towards my friendly base rather than going straight into the attempted flat scissor.

Both of these are me in my Seafire vs Watchman in his Spit 5, extremely close matchup, but he starts both fights with a considerable E advantage.

First clip he has me on the defensive pretty much the whole time and forces me to bail, but I got a great chance to try and apply some of Requiem's lessons that I've been studying while I do dishes ( :rofl )

Second clip I started recording late, but in short he dropped in on my six, so I threw it into a hard flat turn, then reversed into a rolling scissors, bringing his faster Spit 5 out in front and getting me the kill shot.

Best turnfights I've had in awhile!

Great films. Have no idea why there is so few downloads.  I LOVE watching films. VR films are hard to watch. Have me rethinking up grading.  Queezy is a good word.

I now have "record" on all flights. One on ones are so rare ALL are on the cutting room floor. Sooner or later I'll have a film to contribute.

Keep them coming.

Finally

Fight made the month. Great fight. Brewster vs Eagler in his G2.

Everyone left us alone. Good stuff. It's why I play.

I lost.

You were all over him for most of that fight, good doing nonetheless. Eagler typically splits me open after the 2nd or 3rd turn.

If anyone has any videos of me dying I do not consent!  :rofl

Lol of course I do!

Like many I have sooooo many films but I have noooo time to ever mess with them. You all are welcome to them anytime. They are mostly of me busting up a vh with a p47 or me getting shot down by everyone else lol.
Back in 2022 after a loooooong break from 2010. Old name Ratpack, same for the BBS.

Squad I did the most tours with were the Excaliburs then The 172nd Rabid Dogs. Still trying to talk Illigaf, Coola, Oldman22, and Joecrow into coming back instead of being boring old farts!

Brewster vs. K4.

A perfect example of poor gunnery and the inability of using voice in the middle of a fight.   :x

Love the plane.
