Three frames, three bomber assignments.

Throwing the BS flag here.

Three BoB frames, Claim Jumpers got three bomber assignments.

This is unreasonable. How about mixing it up a bit?

It happens to many squads. My squad got bombers 6 frames out of 9 before. Some Commanders do a better job of spreading the duties around than others. Next time, if the orders come out early enough, reply back and ask for reassignment.

Start putting down ride preferences. Anything other than just leaving it blank.

This..

You can even update your preference from frame to frame if I remember right.

We typically request a bomber ride for a frame, a fighter ride fora a frame and a whatever depending on the plane mix. We don't always get what we want but since I started doing that.. it's more often then not.

Looking at the record....in the 3 Frames your squad flew bombers....You were:

1st in Objects Destroyed 2 frames.
2nd in Objects Destroyed 1 frame.
You had 8 mentions for individual pilots for Top Objects destroyed
You had 2 mentions for individual pilots for Top Kills (both I believe were #1)
You launched 30 pilots over 3 frames....only 3 did not make it home.  Loss rate of 10% or 1 pilot per week....in BOMBERS.

And you are complaining?!?!?!  :headscratch:  I've been in FSO's where we were in bombers 2-3 times ...each time we suffered 90% or greater in losses...sometimes we never got a single bomb on target.  It's a team game....this FSO...judging by the logs and K/D Ratios....it looks like the right choices were made to have successful missions...putting ord on the enemy and returning aircraft to the field.

I could see complaining if y'all were getting destroyed every flight....but damn!!!!    I guess that loooonnnngggg boring flight home after dropping on target was too much stress!  :rofl  :rofl

I'm sure y'all will get fighters next FSO.  :aok

Good Job ClaimJumpers!  :salute

Any squad that finds itself in this position should contact the C-in-C before the upcoming Frame or Frames and request a change.  Most C-in-C's are reasonable and would, I think, try to accommodate a squad that had often been stuck with duty they didn't enjoy.

C-in-Cs are certainly requested by the CM Team to avoid assigning squads to several consecutive frames of "unpopular" aircraft.

When I do orders, I try to look back in the logs to make sure this doesn't happen, but sometimes it still does. I have  been in your situation several times before, so I know where you are coming from.  If it does happen, just email the CiC and 9 times out of 10 you can get the rides changed.  I know I have adjusted squads rides for this reason in the past.

CiCs are squad leaders too. I would imagine a simple email would fix this sort of thing.

Just reiterating what Bino said you can always ask the CiC to make a change if you really feel you have a case. If you have any issues please seek our help.  :salute

I personally feel that this response is poor. This is not what we want from CM's. Yes, these things happen but we want more from you. Whether it is a guarantee of better assignment, deliberate CiC duty, rule placed into FSO , etc. , make something happen. This kind of thing should not happen to any squad, let alone a veteran squad such as the Claim Jumpers.

Just an old FSO vet's 2 cents that I am sure no one is interested in.

Sorry Perdue, but it is not the responsibility of the CM team to ensure "a guarantee of better assignment, deliberate CiC duty, rule placed into FSO , etc. , make something happen". The CM team designs and runs an event, and assigns CiC duties so that every FSO squad eventually gets their turn at it. You are right that this kind of thing should not happen to any squad, but that responsibility falls directly on the shoulders of the squads tasked with CiC duty.
