To be honest capturing all this from the ground outside of a shelter looking up directly is very dangerous thing... Finally the debris are still falling down and quite dangerous. Even debris make serious damage.

Also it is amazing technology and looks cool at Youtube, it really isn't cool at all to be around when this happens... especially when you at an open space without any shelter around lying on the ground and seeing this "white puffy clouds" above your head.

Beats having the intact rocket on your head though.

Yes the video does indeed look like one of the viral CGI / video hybrids. Especially the way how the missiles do a reversal to track the target looks fishy.

That's a key part of the Iron Dome interceptor's engagement strategy. They fly out ahead of the incoming warhead then turn into them, head on, to achieve maximum kinetic destructive potential. Come to think of it, several SAM systems use the same strategy for closing threats.

Well, it TRIES to look real. But most often it tries to make unreal things look real, that's why when you see a totally real looking house start to float off its foundation and fly away, it might be a good indication its cgi.

Ok then it makes more sense because it looked to me like the missile turned to chase the projectile, which would make it pretty impossible to catch probably.

Just read about it - the hamas builds their unguided rockets for 600 bucks a piece and the iron dome hits them with a 40 000 dollar rocket. All they need to do is keep launching and it will hurt economically even if nothing lands.
