Please get rid of the Clouds in FSO

Gents,

   I love flying in FSO but a frame rate of 6 to 30 makes it impossible.  The clouds were killing my frame rate for the entire flight.  They look great but their impact on the flying made this FSO a painful experience.

I had the same frame rates along with some of the other guys in my squad.

I'm just curious to what your computer spec.s are? I have an average system and have hardly ever had trouble with any clouds on any terrain........

if you care to, you can send me a copy of your DXDIAG report and I will try to help or tell you where you problem might be......

a lot of the players here really have bloated down systems and honestly do not realize what ramifications that might cause one while playing AH....

Didn't even see a cloud.

I saw them and took a massive frame rate drop as well. Seen it before on this map, nothing can be done about Tull.
you just got to get lucky and be in an area with no clouds.

JG11 saw scattered light cumulus clouds over the Terrhenian Sea.  No noticeable impact on my PC (see specs link in signature).
