gun delete
« on: September 06, 2014, 05:37:48 PM »
The P-47 has the option of only using 6 guns - the P-51D 4 guns and the P-40N 4 guns.  The rule of thumb is to use standard factory equipment, yet these three planes differ from standard.  The 190A5/A8 has the option to take 2 or 4 cannons.  Since only 1 load out can be "standard", all these planes break the rules in a way.  So, can we delete guns from other planes too?

No ... we can't. (At least the way the current hangar options are modeled).  :D

but we can not omit the mg131 cowl guns in the A8 like they often did with the 30mms on.
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

I'm guessing those 3 were "standard" options not field mods.

This was only done in the uparmored /R8 Sturmbock versions, not in the /R2 with just the 3cm guns
