Out of curiosity, what kind of music do you guys like to listen to? What's your favorite band?

Genre I listen to:

Classical
Blues
Jazz
Country
Rock
Classic rock
Metal
Rap (I'm very picky in this category)
Pop

My favorite band would be Pink Floyd, followed closely by Imagine Dragons though I have been listening to a lot of Disturbed lately.

My favorite singer is Elvis Presley.

My favorite song is American Pie.

I'd be good with this list as well, except the rap. I have NEVER heard any "good" rap.

My main go to favorite genre is Metal, but I also enjoy...

Classical
Rock
Punk
Pop
J-Rock
J-Pop
Trance
Techno
and even some Rap can be good (I'm also very picky in this genre as well)

It's impossible to pick 1 favorite band. In the Metal genre alone I currently have about 450+ favorite bands and it continues to grow every day :)

And this is only a fraction of it.

What I listen to depends all on the mood of the moment, the day, the month. There are very few genres I don't listen to at all, but in each genre there are few bands / artists which I listen to on a regular level.

More to be found by the link in my sig.

TESLA  aka CITY KIDD , and was Earth Shaker before that )

Became TESLA in mid to late 1986, was City Kidd from late 1982 thru mid 1986 and was Earth Shaker from 1981 upto mid '82...

Tommy Skeoch and Frank Hannon are absolutely the most overlooked and underrated guitar pairings to ever grace the earth... The way they could switch off bridges, lead, solos, duel yet different solos within the same song....

As for music, I am an audiophile and listen to everything under the sun....

Marshall Mathers is the all time greatest rapper...

Old Crow Medicine Show are the originals to play and sing "wagon wheel" some odd 5 or 10 years before Darius Rucker covered it and won an award for it.... Secour took a partial tune from the "billy the kid" movie that Kristofferson and Bob Dylan was in and turned it in to "Wagon Wheel"....

OCMS are simply awesome live in person... Tesla are also....

Kiss sucks since after the lick it up album....and shouldn't even be considered Kiss without Ace and Peter....
Lizzy Hale and Halestorm are great as well...

Z. W.'s pride and glory is outstanding too....
