I don't get a kick out of it. I don't get pissed. I just don't care. When it spills on 200 I squelch both parties, there r even repeat offenders I squelch as soon as their name pop up on 200.  

 It's too easy to get caught up in AH no lifers game only to the ultimate tarnishment of our sim.

Over 12 years of playing, nasty PM's sent to me probably do not number more than 3.

With not a single word I was referring to myself.

"Big times" meant exactly that: A huge number of players never rage PM's at all.  I could name so many players where such a behavious is/was completely unthinkable. Many of them I actually killed myself ad nauseum and never got any PM by them.
Only a minority succumbs to the  Dead Man's Rage 

If it's a minority, it's a pretty big one.  

But I have found the frequency of PMs tends to be less now than a few years ago.  Last one I got was when I killed someone in a 1v1 and <S> them, only to get a PMed "For what?  For dying?".  

I quickly figured out he thought I was mocking him....after a brief explanation that I thought he fought well and the salute was genuine it was over.  Still, sad the game has come to the point where you can't even <S> someone.

I'm paranoid whenever I see an A20 around thanks to Cobia. 


I took one up one day when a horde blew up all the FHs at an empty base just to see how it flew. It's a fighter. It is most definitely a fighter disguised as a ground attack plane.

I never was good enough to get that kind of 'dogfight hack' accusations a lot.

... but when you repeatedly got "cheat! spy! you are reported!" PM's when you 'magically found' a multi box, escorted 25K bomber mission after wandering for 30+ minutes across the map, nothing much will surprise you anymore

Or those guys thinking, coming in with a goon from the totally opposite direction is a totally novel idea nobody ever had before in a game that's going for over 10 years... and thus you MUST have had a second account to find them

Paranoid and Terrified.  if I see one actually fighting, I always check the roster and if Cobia's on I pretend I never saw it and just fly away, whistling.

I'd guarantee Cobia has destroyed many an ego here.  Mine too once, and I knew it was him, I stayed with my game plan, then about 5 minutes later I was considering redecorating the tower with chintz.

Agreed! But I don't fly away, I love fighting Cobia in that A20. Im just very careful on HOW I fight him. Always a fun fight!
