I mean really, in these days of diminished numbers and difficulties in finding fights, you are complaining because some fighting actually took place? Actually, this sort of thing is exactly why we need 1 hour switch times back.

Really?  (where is that beating a dead horse graphic? I know I had one)  The same folks who continue to go on and on about the 12 hour side change are the same ones who could easily change sides "to the side with the lowest numbers for the best fights....", twice a day...and don't.

I agree with the advice of "watch the map".  I also would go further and tell people to watch the roster.  See who actually practices what they preach.

I like the idea of random country assignment. Based on numbers ofcourse, and Im Sure it would very simple to solve the squad issue. If you have a squady already online, you get sent to that country. If you don't, you're placed on the team with lowest number of players. THIS "CHESS PIECE LOYALTY"  HAS GOT TO END !  :old:

do you play 12+ hour sessions? I don't.. so can't easily switch twice in a day.

WARNING: THIS IS A RANT POST.

Just recently, I've been having some serious issues with the Black Widows (421st).

First, I've found a spy working for them. BWRavenJ. Who belongs to BWRaven. Hitech, if there's a way to check this out, please could you prove me right or wrong.

Just tonight really ticked me off. They were flying with the bish. No big deal. BWraven shoots me down, then not even 30 seconds go by, and the BW's start hoping to Rooks. So I figured, meh, no that huge of a deal. Then, about 2 minutes later, cries on Country channel go out about a mission coming in on A122 from the BISH. They hopped countries to defend against a horde for kills. I don't agree with that. I understand a squad jumping countries once a tour, but not in the middle of a tour to defend against a raid for kills. I will be paying attention to what country they're flying for in the next few days.

I also had an issue with the BWs that made me go "hmmm"--probably the same incident you're referring to, but I don't know for sure.
I was a (bish) goon for a mission to a rook base and landed my goon well outside the base dar ring with no enemy planes in icon range. 10 minutes previously the BWs had been flying for the bish. About 5 minutes after I'd landed a 262 made a beeline for my landed goon and strafed it to death. Pilot was a member of the BWs (I forget which) and I mentioned on country that it sure seemed strange, then forgot about it until now.

I agree: country hopping in order to break up missions and get easy kills is simply uncool.

One way to get it out in the open.... agree to meet in the dueling room
Fly to an agreed upon field - bail at each end of the runway and run to the middle and have a gunfight with the pistols- always was a blast and just as meaningless as the original complaining post... but a whole heck of a lot of laughs...

Its only 1 hour in MW. If you want to change sides every hour.

nobody plays ew or mw.

I could go to ww1 also, where there's not even a 1 hour limit. you can switch at will in there.

Mate I completely understand your frustration. Maybe 4 or 5 years ago I was flying bish and we were attacking a coastal base in a bit of a horde against a hand full of defenders. At one stage sunsfan was there attacking with us and within the same flight I shot him down as a red guy. I was like WTF? You can't just switch like that! Spy! Spy!

In reality he switched and upped to find a more challenging fight.

Now days I understand that switch and salute him for it, was just looking for a more challenging fight. Lately it's so hard to find a good fight I think I would do the same just for the fight.

I, BWDelta, was the 262 that killed your goon. You were landed on the coast line with the town to your back. It wasn't very hard to spot you from 5K up. I have most of my settings turned down. Its pretty easy to see a plane the size of a goon sitting on the ground. Especially when your skin doesn't match your surroundings. Next you may want to try landing somewhere other than between the base you came from and the town. You were bound to be found only being about about 4-5 miles outside town. Its also kind of obvious if the whole mission comes in NOE that the goon is going to be right behind it. Or atleast expected with that mission planner.

The mission was doomed from the beginning. It went NOE to an already active base with heavy P38s. The outcome wasn't going to be pretty. Ill even bet that the mission planner didn't know that there was a Rook CV just NW of the base. There was no way that the mission was going to take that base, even if i didn't find your goon.
