Great film! Every bit of it was interesting, but two things stood out for me: 1) at you tube mark 22:06, a near H.O. between a P-51 and a Jap fighter; 2) at mark 28:47, a P-51 upon landing, the left external tank shook loose and went careening down the runway after the plane.

On the P-51 and left external tank shaking loose it was most likely a hung store that failed to jettison with the right tank.  The rack was probably partially unlocked already.  The way the tank slowed down after coming loose indicates it was empty or close to being empty.
