Pretty cool.
We make the head space gages for the M2 where I work and sell them to General Dynamics who has the contract for refurbishing all the M2's in U.S. service.

That is pretty cool.  I am honestly surprised they are allowing a private aircraft to be fitted with working guns.

Nasty history though, a pilot killed crashing it.

I am surprised but not upset or worried....

Why would someone with a class 3 FFL NOT be allowed to do this?
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Saw this on the website. quoted from an EAA article,
Quote
But the guns you see here in Twilight Tear's wings are not the real ones. ATF rules are much stricter once the airplane leaves the ground. So studmuffinen has aluminum replica Brownings installed in the wings, and the real .50 calibers stayed home in Minnesota under lock and key.

lol! the BBS changed the guys name to studmuffinen.  :lol :lol

Semp, as an o/t, a friend of mine, Dave DeHann (Dave Youngblood that owns DYE Paintball products) was the officer who stopped this guy in the tank finally.  He was a reserve officer with San Diego PD, and he and his training officer were the guys that climbed up on the tank when it got stuck.  Coincidentally, Dave is an owner and flier of Warbird aircraft.
