Wow. good read; will be awesome if they find 100% definitive proof
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

Is this TIGHAR again?
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

When you say 'seriously flawed crew member', are you talking about Fred Noonan? What was wrong with him?
Currently ignoring Vraciu as he is a whoopeeed retard.

And here I'd thought I'd be called on carpet for saying Emilia lacked skills....

I thought that was common knowledge among aviation enthusiasts.  She was being pushed beyond her skill level by people benefiting from her fame.  Her gender was not the cause of her skill level, there were and are women perfectly capable of doing those flights, but she had looks as well.

So, she wasn't captured and executed by the Japanese on Saipan them...

I found the TIGHAR article interesting where they gave the reasons why her radio was as bad as it was.
