DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – It is never too early to start planning for the air show.

The Vectren Dayton Air Show announced dates for the 2015 show. High flying acts will take to the skies June 20 and 21, 2015 at the Dayton International Airport.

2015 marks the 41st year for the show.

Air show organizers say June is the perfect time for the air show.

“It’s a little cooler and positions us well for scheduling by the popular U.S. military jet teams,” stated Michael Emoff, Chairman of the USATS Board of Trustees, the governing organization of the event.

Organizers have already applied to have the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds perform next year. The team will make their announcement about which shows it will attend on December 9, 2014.

Well I am already looking at going.. Gonna travel up I-75 to Dayton from the Atl area and am willing to pick up people if needed. Gonna brink my soon to be home on wheels... Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping everything goes through.

If no Rv then I still will be coming up and staying in hotel..

Cool, I'll buy another few hundred rounds of milsurp M1 ammo....was pondering doing that before prices go up first of the year anyhow....THEN, I can have my epic US/commie shoot-off with Nef!

Now that im back in Ohio I'll hopefully be able to make it again this year!!   So I take that this will take place at Scott's house again if not the campground then?
