Port 251 on Fester map

This morning we took P251 and then killed CV 252 and it  respawned as a Knight CV.

I thought the port system was setup to always have fleet battles.  Are you sure it was the fleet you thought it was?  Lolz Wezel

If the base you took the troops from is captured before you capture the base you are attacking, the troops you are carrying belong to the country that captured your home base.

This morning we took P251 and then killed CV 252 and it  respawned as a Knight CV.

I hope that this is clear, we took the port and then 10 to 20 minutes later we killed CV252 and it respawned as a nit cv!

This wrong. You can't carry another countries troops.
