Manual Suggestion
« on: June 24, 2000, 02:54:00 PM »
Travis had a comment about needing some help with the manual that I thought raised a valid point.

A newbie coming to the Help area will be looking for some direction...and direction is the one thing he won't get. The Help area has excellent info..but it is scattered all over the place.

Ideally, the newbie (or the pilot that only flys infrequently) wants to know where to start and then what to do next...sort of like a checklist on how to get into the game.

This should not be too hard...the info is there. It just needs to be rearranged. Perhaps some squad already has.

Great game, but a little reorganization might help some of us out.

Very true Andy... we have some basic stuff in our tactical section at www.reddragons.de/aceshigh  but its far from being complete

the problem: we need more people helping us writing the documents, right now Rocket's doing 99% of the work so there isn't that much progress. Any help would be highly appreciated.

A beginners manual is being worked on from outside the company.
