My guess would be gas is short gasoline.

Actually, we may be able to thank Putin for the lower prices. Anyone 2nd that?

Gas has been dropping in my town, and is continuing to drop as I type this. Started at 3.30 a gallon and it's down to 2.89 right now.

The price of gas has continued to fall since I bought a Honda Fit to save gas on the commute..
( Ok, realistically, I bought it for my daughter, but she doesn't need it at college, yet.. I'm just 'breaking it in' )  :devil

It also rains the day after I wash my car.

And, back when I smoked, the meal would arrive the moment I lit up another cigarette.

It's still dropping here. I really don't mind high oil prices. When prices are high drilling companies are going like mad around the clock which means they break stuff and pay me to fix it.

It's going to drop substantially here soon just like it does every winter when we change over to winter blends of gas. 

Diesel does the opposite since cheap diesel gels up here in the winter.

it keeps going down here a few pennies a week.  last sunday I paid 2.99 now it's 2.95.
