Lost my mom this year too Betty. Its rough but when you realize their suffering ends it tempers your hurt. My prayers are with you and your family.

Just went through this a few days ago with my mother-in-law after her kidneys failed.  Ask a lot of questions with hospice so you know their part and yours so everything goes smooth.  It went smoothly for our family.  I am sure it will be the same with yours.
