AFK wish

I wish the AFK status would be disabled when an input from the joystick or keyboard was made. I also wish that if you PMed someone who was AFK it would give you a system/host message that they are in fact AFK.

To take it a tad further, if this was implemented (+1) would it be also possible to set AFK automatically when minimizing the game?

+1 to go another tad further could your icon somehow reflect your AFK status, (color, text etc.,) in order to save check 6 and pointless help etc.?

take a bomber click afk and watch your plane being invisible to the enemy all the way to hq.  heck it would finally allow me to avoid snailman.  i swear that guy smells bombers from 20 sectors away :).

He means the specific "AFK" tag is for friendlies only, enemies will just see a regular icon.

What if we were to also change it to a clipboard option, where all I had to do was pull up the clipboard and check the box AFK, rather than pulling up Text/VOX?

What Wiley said is what I meant, the cowardly nme shouldn't know your AFK from 6k out, but I would like to let my own side know.
