Over the weekend I got to watch the Rams vs (ashamed to mention
). Seeing the players come out with their Ferguson statement kind of turned me off.
Sports is supposed to be about unifying the fan base, not dividing it right?
I think the NFL goofed at taking sides on the Ray Rice issue. Any citizenry issue should be handled by the authorities. I just don't like any association, NHL, NFL, MLB ect... to get involved in a public service announcement and add fuel to fire.
What do you all think? Good idea or bad for associations to get involved in public service announcements?
