You doubt there was any "data" loss?  How about the 5 movies that were stolen and then released on the Internet to be pirated?  The Fury, Annie and 3 other movies from Sony yet to be released.  There was also the private information hundreds of regular Sony employees that was stolen.

I seriously doubt it as there was data loss, indicating it was far more than a DDoS.

I'd love to know what kind of security platform Sony were using (or thought they had).

The first incident involving The Interview was hacking.  Shutting down PlayStation on Christmas day was DDoS.  Two different incidents being discussed in this thread.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Coincidentally also Origin servers were down on xmas.
