Role Call
« on: January 01, 2015, 11:01:18 PM »
Hope everyone had a good holiday and a happy new year.

I was thinking recently, with the passing of Bentnail and the conversations that followed, that a lot of members have passed away over the years. Myself and others were not able to attend the memorial flight for Bent and there have been talks of doing a second one. I don't know how serious they are, but I think there should be a memorial flight for all the fallen. I was at Dell's service a while back, and that is what I love about this game so much. We care about each other. This community is the closest I have every seen, and that's what keeps me coming back.

Thanks to all,
Fish

I think a once of year memorial flight for all that have fallen that year (and all that preceded them) is a fantastic idea.  :rock :aok :aok

I fly for them everyday, even ones I never met!

When I unleash my insanity upon the game I am having fun to make up their share!

we will make the AVA available to anyone that wants to organize Memorial flight.... just let me or one of the guys know. you might have to deal with the map that's up that week, but we'll set up requested planes, sides and whatever we can for you. offer open to all squads, groups and players. we can insure no fire incidents in the AVA.......unless otherwise requested!

Ed (bent) will be greatly missed he was a heck of a friend and just knew how to make you laugh.
Bill (68KO) I still think about Bill I taught him how to fly over an air warriors with the motleyaces he was always so eager to learn and he loved his P-51D when AirWarriors was getting ready to close he brought his eagerness over here he was an awesome friend.

Ww2online used to have a place in-game where you could visit fallen friends, a stone with call-signs on it .

I think that is a really nice idea.
