OSU was belittled by the talking heads.  They were totally ignored by the SEC and the Alabama Fans.  Many Alabama fans did not purchase Sugar Bowl tickets

but selected instead to buy tickets for the Championship Game in Texas.  They were arrogant and ill informed.  The Big Ten had a great day.  Michigan State defeated

the Baylor Bears and The Ohio State University beat Bama.  Not to mention Wisconsin beat Auburn.  I've never seen in recent years the disdain for the big ten that  Big 10 fans endured this year

when listening to the pundits. Looks like the SEC took the pipe in those instances. 

We rolled the Tide!  Great game.  As always the worm always turns.

So 3 week teams OSU, MSU, and Wisconsin beat SEC teams  and a Big12 so called power, so much for the ESPN fanbois eh?

We did this with the third string quarterback also!  Says something about the quality of the rest of the players.

Hell..........most college fans don't know the name of their teams third string quarterback.

Oregon will be the toughest team in the nation to beat, I think (looking at whom they played and by how much they won).  Here's hoping for that final Ohio State win of the season!

TCU is a very good football team.  Lets be clear about this shall we?  All every other conference in NCAA Football heard this year was
how inferior they all were.  The Big Ten for some reason was the object of ESPN pundits ridicule.  Lets be clear also who kept pushing the SECs dominance was ESPN.
Anyone know who hosts the SEC Network? You guessed it ESPN. So who had something to gain?  Remember watching the ESPNUs and College Football Final shows where the Big
Ten was ridiculed as being weak and the BIG 12 plays no D.  If it weren't for Lou Holtz the College Football Final would have been titled "The SEC, Ain't we great show."

And now the silence is deafining from SEC fans.

This is the only reason the SEC is now becoming the butt of jokes.  If they'd have just played the games, shut up, there would have been civility
about the outcomes of these Bowl Games instead of hearing  "THE SEC West is the greatest in the world and should be a college football conference
by itself!!"  Now SEC stands for schools eating crow

Ammo no smear on you Bud.  The angst is directed at ESPN.  I just love College Football, and to me ESPN threw something into it this year that is not good.

The Big Ten Network is just that.  You don't know what is said unless you actually watch the BIG Network.  On the other hand you have ESPN  who sponsors the

SEC Network and it drags it out to ESPN not just the SEC Network. You also have a Paul Finebaum who wrote a book about the SEC Conference and touted it's

superiority failing to realize that superiority in anything is temporary.  OBTW he's employed by ESPN on the SEC Network.  In other words it was forced down

our throats whenever we tuned to watch football shows on ESPN or ESPNU. Alabama will always be a power as many teams will.  NCAAF is the greatest.

Rivalries are what makes it great.  When others insert themselves into making it a money making factory for themselves it aggravates me an others to no end.

Hajo -  no worries.  Just know that this Bama fan and many others don't buy into that media hype.  I knew OSU was dangerous -  they had played lights out the last 4 weeks with their QB in question!

Admittedly, I thought Bama would have won the game by less than a TD.  I knew we were in trouble in the 2nd QTR

OSU vs Alabama in the Sugar Bowl was definitely history in the making. Lets get one more win against the Ducks to silence the critics and naysayers!

Thanks for that. Except for one lousy quarter we'd have been in the dance but such is life. And yes I'm tired of hearing about the SEC.  There are good schools in every conference and they play the games to find out who rises and who falls.  I'm pulling for OSU to win out, nothing against the ducks, but the Buckeys have fought, scratched, and clawed through a ton of adversity that would have most teams sitting at home right now.  That team has character out the wazoo.  Now if we can just keep our players from being knuckleheads and getting kicked off the team.. LOL
