Notice Of Disconnected Players
« on: January 03, 2015, 12:08:29 PM »
I wish there was a notice when a team mate got disconnected.  This could be limited to players who are in icon range, or in range or tactical radio contact with you.

There were a couple of times this last week when some players got disconnected.  It would be helpful to get a notice when someone gets dropped, and another notice if they successfully reconnect while still in flight.

I wish there was an audible notification that I had disconnected, i.e. a blaring horn that would call me back from the kitchen  :joystick:

The Open Lobby already shows text like:

"Player1 has joined the lobby"

"Player1 has left the lobby"

Something like this in every arena would be nice, but make it optional of course for those who would consider it spam.  :aok

Player1 in X aircraft has shot down Player2 in Y aircraft.
Player1 is now an single ace (five victories in a row).
Player3 has lifted from A123 in Z aircraft.

Messages like these would be nice as well.

I agree, just as long as it doesn't announce perk planes lifting, such as:
Coalcat1 has lifted from A240 in a 262 from the NE runway or
Coalcat1 has lifted from A230 in an F4U-4 from the east runway
Maybe make it so it would read
Coalcat1 has lifted from A121 in a perk bomber from the SE runway or
Coalcat1 has lifted from A210 in a perk fighter from the west runway
The later 2 examples would result in less hunting of perk planes just after take off IMO. Giving the ID of the aircraft that you get 1k out in these messages would be nice so a full ID can't be made from the TO message. +1 to the OP as well. It would be like Having some ATC in here.  :salute

No one would be able to read it as it scrolled up the page. All those messages plus all the text. Even with the page full open it would be a blur.
