Not quite my style, but Willy Porter is definitively highly talented. His cover of Peter Gabriel's "Digging In The Dirt" with Carmen is epic.

I was a bus driver for 20 years in London and the tube staff looked down their noses at us , treated us like scum even though my job was far more skilled than any tube drivers
It all looks a lot different when you live there, 3 to 4 times a year they go on strike over petty stuff and London expects the bus driver to pick up the slack with no credit for it
Of course I'm right I'm British

Charlie Landsborough

Most John Wayne fans will remember the "Isle Of Innisfree" as the melody of this from "The Quiet Man"

And another of his own

"I will love you all my life" ( A good Valentines days song for the ladies)

Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

Yep, I agree with your sentiments on those issues and such people.  For me, I was just a visitor, so I didn't get any long-term experience with everything.  As a visitor, I loved London.

Thought I'd add some of my favorite songs to the list.

Opeth -Harlequin Forrest

A couple of songs by my favorite band Katatonia
http://youtu.be/a8mAYjGsPn4
http://youtu.be/F7EP2EJKrsw
KATATONIA - Rainroom: http://youtu.be/8uMij4bNJR0 one of their heavier darker songs from a while ago but if you start the song from 5:00 till the end it has one of the most chilling compelling double bass measures I've ever heard.
