I've found AH is a different experience when I only have to read friendly dialog over the chat buffer.

without seeing all the crap on channel 1 you dont get the idea in your head nor the notion to complain and talk crap.

you just fly around and have a good time.

well anyone getting frustrated try it. it makes for a much better gaming experience.

Before some casuel reader gets the idea That channel 1 is an endless pain. That is not true. We pick up a butthead once in awile. But it is hardly insufferabal.

Dejavu, I find nothing ironic about this post, unless it is a small shot at Citabria.

This BBS is for chatting, discussion etc, and that is why we log on to it. The game is more about playing the game, much less about chatter. I find the ch 1 stuff distracting and I dont log on to the game to yack, I come into here to see and listen to what others want to say.

Nothing ironic, more kind of "a place for each, and each done in its place".

well akdejavu is basicaly eluding to my inability to keep from ranting on channel 1.

I was commenting that from now on I will always have channel 1 squelched since without it I have no desire to talk to or play mud throwing contests with enemy players I shoot down or have shot me down.

simply the temptation is not there and neither is the catalyst.

Sometimes the chatter that goes on 1 is constructive..

When there is any flaming, I just IGNORE IT, or read it and laugh. Some of it is pretty funny sometimes
