Why I Still Enjoy AH
« on: January 15, 2015, 08:54:14 AM »
Had the best 5 hours this morning on Ozkansas map in late war.  It is my favorite map; and I so enjoy running CV's smartly, and not blindly pointing them at a base.

Rooks had just reset last map, and I got our Bishop boats out to sea.

Lots of prep work along the way: porking ord especially.  Getting intel on Rook Fleet movements etc.

After a couple hours had a squaddie, another buddy on channel whose squad was not on.  In 90 mins, had about 12 on vox -- all adults, all quite good at what they enjoy most in the game.  Was really fun.  Ty all <S>

I enjoy Aces High because it is obviously the Dominant multi player virtual air combat simulation. It is so good that some players believe they are actual real life aces!  :old:  :D

All Adults?

Shut it you!

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

When I die bury me in a P38.

I watch day after day, week after week, tour after tour, the Bishops and Rooks take bases and win maps while the Knights stand there with their thumbs stuck in their butts. It's just pathetic!

Aaah thats why kids can do with a simple joystick and old farts build simpits. Or could it be that an armored simpit gives protection from objects thrown by the angry spouse?

Granted it gives some immersion when you quietly cruise at MA and all of the sudden deadly projectiles start hitting your simpit. OMG she came from the sun!
