Flying the P39 with 4 50's is a lot like taking gondolas on the 109. DON'T DO IT!

Just take the 2x50cal with 37mm its very deadly when you are 200 out on there 6 almost half my kills alone are just the 2x50s in the p39Q plus it can take some sick battle damage.

Yeah and Santa Claus leaves stuff to your stocking on christmas.

This is what a single 30mm shot from 90° angle SHOULD do to an airplanes tail:

(Image removed from quote.)

I counted 7 hits.

I think the fuselage damage model on Bombers is too tough.   Hitting Buffs in the fuselage takes 7-10 taters to kill the buff if they are distributed. It may take 5-6 if they all hit the aft section.  Seems like too many.

P-39 is fun, when bendits agressively turn fight you.  If they e-fight you, or run, it's a lesson in futility.  :salute

plane lights up like a Zeke. 40% of my deaths in it are by fire.

37mm is big fun when you land it, but landing it is the toughest gunnery challenge in game. Field guns, whirbles, Osti's, YakT 37mm, 30mm taters, 50mm BK, 40mm HJurri are all easier to get hits with.
