On behalf of the Update/New Patch I would like for something to be added. Please Perk The La-7, 190-d9, p51D. The reason for this is that these types of planes are Flown alot in the MA and they just like to run. Its not fun chasing one of these guys for 2 sectors. By Perking these rides it will limit the amount of times u see these planes and AH community will begin to see different planes that You Hardly see folks flying. It will make the game more fun and more challenging because thos models i listed above won't necessarily be able to run away anymore unless they pay the perk price. BTW I'm not saying Perk them at a high rate like tempest or something. Just maybe 5-10 perks.  :salute :salute

If you want something that can't out run your early or mid war aircraft. Fly in there.

you perk the ponyd and make me waste all my precious 8k perk points I may just quit the game and play wot.  that way you'll be the only one left and nobody can run from you  :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:.

Try a P-38.  Most will not run from a p-38 but you have a plane capable of beating all the fast planes.  You just have to stay a live long enough for them to make a mistake.  Often that mistake is getting target fixated  Fast plane people tend to lose their ACM skills over time or never learn ACM.  Of course there are some fine exceptions to this rule of thumb.  I will also note running is a good tactic if you lose the opportunity to win.

Atleast Perk the LA-7. I would play in the Mid War Arena but no one plays in there.

problem is rudeboi you start with the la7 then you have to do the P51d, 109k4, 190D, spit 14-16, ta152 etc.

People will just gravitate to the next quickest / easiest plane.  I've always wondered what the mid war arena would have turned out like when HT first classified into EW, MW, LW.   Everybody complained that they couldn't fly what they wanted in Late war, after a day or two he changed his mind and enabled all planes in LW essentially ending any chance EW / MW had.

The quality of fights would have been better overall with more similar styled planes.

But till you get your wish (if you ever do) either don't chase them, climb higher than them so you can catch them, or fly something as fast, or faster than them....

I too hate run-90's and pee-51's because they use their speed to run all the time, but the cool thing is it's the only thing in their bag of tricks.  When you catch one, it's often easy to kill them because they have spent so much time running, they don't know how to fight.  99% of Puny drivers (sorry, Pony drivers), couldn't buy a reverse, much less execute one.

Suggestion, fly a P-47M.  It's almost as fast as the speed demons, dives better, and I love the dive flaps.  I can't tell you how many 51's I have gotten to auger behind me because they were silly enough to follow me into compression.  

It's also fun to show up with a little more alt than them.  Pretty much every pony I see hits the deck after seeing anything co-E.

If anything I think the Wirble should be perked just a little bit. I haven't seen an Osti or M16 in years, and why would you take one when you can grab a free quad 20mm of death?

For bombers attacking your vehicle base or port, they often stay just above wirbel range. The M16 however is the P40C of the AA vehicles ;)

Last years plane kill distribution between them: Wirbel 81%, Ostwind 15%, M16 4%

The C model and -4 Corsairs are perked and the P-51 is as good or better.  I could see maybe the La-7,190 D9 and 109 K4 perked a little.
