Wingman command wish...

2cmex suggested that when you type .wingman XXXX it will send an accept window just like when you type .join XXXX....that way you know who is trying to "be your wingman" and whether or not you want them to be your wingman

How about a system message in the chat buffer instead of the window....too many times these things have blocked a shot.

I would expect this new "join" feature being subject to the same .showjoin 0 command as the gunner join feature

(I just wished the squad invite box could be suppressed the same way).

I can trail someone closely, acting as a wingman, without the need for their icon to be white or the ability to slave my auto-pilot to theirs.

Sounds to me like this will make it harder for you follow your enemy that you are shade stalking...

Just wondered if that was the true aim of this wish; to identify shade accounts. Which sorta means this wish is actually a "it's unfair that this player pays twice as much as me to gain an advantage "wish"... Or more frustratingly; harass a player or players.

I'm still learning about the seedy underbelly of this game.

I use .wingman on my squadmates all the time and switch between them. It would be a nuisance if they had to confirm it everytime and less useful for me if I had to wait till they would confirm it.
