The way I see it, there isn't a forced split of the arenas, just like how it is currently.

How is providing choices for a player forcing them to choose?  Players will still have the option of flying in the main arena in its current format but will have other arenas if they wish to engage in PvE missions or PvP matches, with such objectives like Capture the Flag (or base in this case), team death match, staged PvP missions, etc.

Because the move towards gaming habits is quick action, something the PvE and PvP arenas bring to the table and gives the player more playing options.

Adding different payment options isn't going to bring in the crowds if there is nothing to provide the "hook" to keep them here, giving them options in addition to changes to the game play and with the new graphics will provide that "hook" to hopefully compel the new player to stick around.

People have asked why the media blitz on Canadian TV during some show about aces/dogfighting didn't pan out.  My guess the reason that media campaign failed was that there wasn't anything to compel the potential customer to check out the game, let alone stick around if they did.  There needs to be a change to the game, not a variation of the same old thing.

I agree completely.  Also want to had that Fugitive you see as all or nothing.  I believe there are a lot of players that this does appeal to.   I many mornings that it is dead in the MA I log on to BF4.  Where if it is like ack says it will appeal to me to go there.   Think about the DA.  From what I heard that was kinda the fighter town back in the day.  80-100 guys.  Sounds like a huge party.

By providing choices for a players you are forcing them to choose. If they are not choosing then what is the point of having choices?

Fugi, I don't think you were replying directly to my post.  But if you were, I'd like to expand.  I wasn't describing 'choices'.  My thought is to create a path to the Main Arena to be utilized by new players and or returning players.  The staged missions open up a self-paced progression for those pilots.

With respect because you are almost as awesome as Zack.   :lol

Actually Ack I saw those commercials and unfortunately Wot ran an ad just before HTC's and then again right after!  You almost couldnt tell which ad was which!

If I was HTC I would have pulled the ad myself simply because of the way it was sandwiched between to WoT ads!

It wasnt a complete loss though as I know atleast 2 or 3 Canuks joined after seeing the ad. :aok
