tank killers
« on: February 06, 2015, 03:09:41 PM »

What exactly are the tank killers?  IL-2, Ju-87 and Hurri D?  Seems like the A-20 and B-25H should be on the list but with only 28 killed in two years, that can't be right.

And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

I guess it's only about Il-2s. Otto Kiittel (the man depicted above) shot down 94 of them

Just checked my stats going back to the start of the achievements in Tour 157 and only counted 20 Il-2 kills.  Not going to go through all that again, but the achievement must include at least one more plane.

Speaking of stats, anything about 2014 brewing in your laboratory?

Not really. The raw datat is all compiled, but my time for analysis is rather limited theses days and the general interest in that stuff has been declining over the past years.

Anything particular you are looking for?

A few years back, you listed the top players (kills and K/D) in every plane.  I thought that was really cool.  :aok

That was also the most work  :lol

hmmm... maybe with a more streamlined approach of just listing them by K-D instead of ranking them by raw kills and then again by K/D... I'll think about that, but no promises. I'm jst a slave to the whims of a 8 months old boy these days  :old:

Don't do it on my account, unless you can use it as an excuse to get out of housework.
