Windows 10 and directx 9?
« on: February 09, 2015, 03:08:45 PM »
There seems to be quite a push to move W7 and 8 users to W10 after its release.  W10 brings directx 12.  Will directx 9 be supported by W10?

Every version of DirectX includes all previous versions. That's why we speak of updating DX9 instead of adding it.

DirectX 9 is the last version of DirectX supported across all Windows operating systems, since Windows 98, inclusive.
