If I remember correctly LTAR was started in 2001

LTARmoil flew for a different squad in WB days. It's when he came to aces high when he created LTAR in 2001

327th Steel Talons was formed in 1997. At least according to the History page on our old web site.  Sorry for the misinformation.

Though we messed around with rank at times, we're pretty much a squad of equals. We agree equally it's still KOOL's squad.

Thanks for comment! I think most all of these are fighter squadrons! While the "Devil Dogs", Rook country, is only about 5 years old, I would think we are one of the top bomber squadrons in the game. Just saying

Usranger what happened to the bops? I use to fly with them and stopped playing because life happened but i still followed websight bops.us but it went down and i lost track them.

I flew with them for along time for what had to be 8-10 years ago for years. I randomly come back to the game for a few months until life takes back over. Still have a few of them on facebook, I'm actually curious if they still fly. Last time I came back(somewhere in 2014 they were still around in the squad channel.) I do know the website is down due to lack of low traffic, it wasn't worth keeping it up anymore. Sure do miss those days.

I don't know why I was so inspired, but I put together this infographic-like timeline for the Elder Squads of Aces High.   It was really interesting looking through the squad websites.  If I couldn't find a website or squad graphic, I tried making one up for the fun of it.

I used to be only interested in historical squads, but I gotta say when you free yourself from historical constraints, the creativity and humor can really flow!  Pigs on the Wing has their own store where you can buy "PigWare" products.  Nguk nguk nguk!

went back thru this thread and see I've accidentally left off a few squads, and still have the 327th start year wrong..

Would be cool I think to make a website with a "cover flow" type function to scroll through the squads' logos and emblems; clicking on the image would take you to the squad's webpage...
