How would squad voice/text work?

There has to be some unique identifier on your account that tells the host what squad you're in. Today, it's your gameid.  If you wanted that gameid to be in multiple squads, you'd have to come up with some other unique identifier that somebody would have to set when they log in...

Which leads to somebody making the wrong choice, ending up logging on as somebody else, then god-knows-what-drama ensues...

Sounds like a headache to me.

We only have one computer between the 3 of us that can run the game(4 year old atom processors don't cut it lol) so it never really made sense to pay for multiple accounts if we could only play one at a time. I'm actaully in the process of putting something Higher end together for myself and giving my laptop to them, but they'll still have to share an account, and I'm not really sure if the Celeron laptop is up to the task of running the new update.

I know Hitech allows players to use he same account at the same time, just not in the same arenas at the same time.

the first paragraph of the TOS:

Quote
1.  Use of your Account is expressly limited to you.  Your Account may not be transferred to any other party, temporarily or permanently.

 :headscratch:

I could dig up a quote of hitech says something along the lines of "2 people can play on the same account at the same time, just not in the same arena"

I doubt Hitech cares if a few people use the same account, as long as the bill is being paid and no more than one person can play in the same arena at a time.

It's not stupid if you want to be recognized for flying with more than one squad.  :old:

Why not be recognized for you?   Your idea just makes you a squad groupie hoping that connection means you are somebody.

Seems like you could do that on your own :aok

Lol it seems I might have offended some people. What exactly is wrong with wanting to be in more than one squad?

I think it has something to do with being one person and the strange notion that WW2 pilots didn't fly in two squadrons at one time.

Nothing stopping you from winging up with your friends in other squads.

It's the wishlist. Don't mind the comments. APDrone nailed the real issue.

As in separate paid accounts? I would like the idea of separate accounts under the same subscription, but I'm sure a feature like that would be abuse-able in many ways. It would certainly help me keep tabs on my actually in game score (I share my account with my 2 brothers)

this is a EULA terms of sevice etc violation i think.
Fester was my in game name until September 2013

Well in that case I guess I shouldn't kill P51s while I'm flying an F6F after all, it didn't happen in the war.

If you're in a bomber shooting at friendlies is historically accurate.  :D

Well I'm glad I at least do that right.

AAA mistaking me for an enemy is a whole lot scarier though.
